Goč on foot: how to choose a walk for your group
From an easy 2.5 km stroll to a full-day 15 km, to Lake Selište and the Krst viewpoint. How to pick the length that suits your group.
Walks on Goč follow the forest roads and trails of the mountain, through conifers and beech trees. We choose the length to suit the group, from 2.5 to 15 km, so the same mountain works for families with kids and for groups who want a whole day on their feet.
Short, medium or full day
- About 2.5 km: an easy forest stroll, good for families and a first taste of Goč
- About 10 km: the walk to Lake Selište and the Krst viewpoint at 1,123 m
- Up to 15 km: a full-day walk for those who love hiking
If you are not sure, tell us who is coming and how much time you have and we will suggest a route. Walks are organised for groups of at least ten.

What to bring
- Comfortable shoes for forest trails
- Layers, as the mountain is cooler than the spa town
- Water and a snack
- A raincoat or jacket if the forecast is uncertain
After the walk
A picnic or lunch outdoors can be added to the walk. If you are in the spa town for just one afternoon, there is also the Vrnjačka Banja walking tour: about two and a half hours past the landmarks, starting in front of your accommodation.
