Archery competition on Goč mountain

Archery

Archery with an instructor, for kids and adults. Equipment provided, no experience needed.

The archery range is in the central park of Vrnjačka Banja, right next to the Adventure park. No experience is needed: an instructor shows you how to stand, hold the bow and aim, then guides every shot. Bows for kids and adults, arrows and targets are provided.

Archery is just as much fun for kids, parents and grandparents, and it easily turns into a friendly family competition. For groups, family gatherings and companies we also run it on Goč mountain, on its own or as part of a team building programme.

Your first round

From the first arrow to the bullseye

You learn the basics in a few minutes, and the instructor is with you from the first shot to the last.

  1. With an instructor

    Stop 1

    Bow in hand

    The instructor hands you a bow that fits, for kids or adults, and shows you how to hold it.

  2. Focus

    Stop 2

    Stance and aim

    Side-on to the target, calm breathing and eyes on the centre. This is where patience is learned.

  3. Steady hand

    Stop 3

    Release!

    Your fingers let go of the string and the arrow flies to the target. You won't forget that sound.

  4. A little competition

    Stop 4

    On target

    At the end of the round we collect the arrows together and see who got closest to the centre.

Press and hold to steady your aim, release to shoot. You have 6 arrows, just like the first round in the park.

Don't hold too long – your arm gets tired and the aim starts to drift!
